As we approach the final stretch of October, this has been another dynamic month for Token City, with events both interesting and exciting, highlighting our commitment to innovation and tokenization in financial markets. We have been at the center of the conversations shaping the future of blockchain technology, from national recognitions to key sector events in Europe. Below is a summary of our recent public activity:
One of the highlights of the month was our nomination as finalists in the Blockchain Awards Alastria 2024. Although the award was ultimately given to Onyze, we are deeply proud to have competed alongside other recognized names in the sector such as Metrovacesa and Morabanc. This nomination is a recognition of the work and dedication we have put into developing innovative solutions that are transforming the tokenization landscape in Spain and beyond.
October also took us to Amsterdam, where we attended the Tech Day organized by AFM and Exberry. This event allowed us to connect with some of the most influential companies in the stock market sector, expanding our understanding of the key priorities of the main industry players. The discussions and contacts generated during this event are fundamental to continue positioning ourselves as leaders in blockchain-based technological infrastructures.
During the Merge Madrid event, one of the leading forums for blockchain technology discussion in Spain, Token City had the honor of making two high-level interventions. In an setting that combines technological innovation with the vibrant culture of the Spanish capital, our CEO, Yael H. Oaknin, participated in two of the most interesting roundtables:
1. Market infrastructures under the Pilot Regime: Alongside Gonzalo Navarro Ruiz, from Ontier, Yael explored how blockchain technology is revolutionizing market infrastructures within the innovative EU regulatory framework known as the Pilot Regime.
2. Tokenization of financial instruments and RWA (Real World Assets): Sharing the stage with Joana Marabella Godoy, from Balize, and Pablo García Bartret, from ATH21, Yael spoke about the impact of real asset tokenization on traditional financial markets and how this technology is transforming the future of finance.
An important milestone for the month of October was the launch of ENLACE, the first community in Spain dedicated to financing Proptech startups. With the support of Adventurees and using Token City technology, ENLACE positions itself as a key consultancy that connects technological innovation with the real estate sector. Its launch marks a significant step forward in the advancement of tokenization applied to the Proptech world.
To wrap up the month, we took part in the presentation of the Pilgrim Token, a project developed by Token City for our client Ways Journeys. As part of the "Camino de Europa" project, the Pilgrim Token seeks to enhance the cultural and gastronomic heritage of the Camino de Santiago. The presentation took place at the I Camino de Europa Fair, held in Carrión de los Condes, and is yet another reflection of Token City's commitment to continue driving innovation in sectors that go beyond traditional finance.
We continue to relentlessly position ourselves as leaders in the transformation of financial markets through tokenization and blockchain technology. And although we still have one more week to go all out during this month, we are already gearing up for an even busier November!
