The Spanish supervisor has granted Ursus-3 Capital, Securities Firm, the first authorization in Spain as an Entity Responsible for the Registration of tokenized tradable Securities (ERIR in Spanish), using Token City technology to fulfill its functions in this role.
What does this authorization mean for the financial sector?
It opens the beginning of a new stage in the digital economy in Spain. With the authorization of the first ERIR, the legal and operational framework for the issuance and trading of tokenized financial instruments on blockchain is consolidated, opening up new horizons in the capital markets.
It is the end of testing and the beginning of a reality where the advantages of blockchain in finance - accessibility, transparency and cost reduction, among others - can be applied on a large scale by companies and financial institutions.

First fully regulated Security Token Offering in Spain
